yet again on reported speech

I know that all textbooks say that "would" remains "would" in reported
speech, but, in a case like the following
"I find knew the answer, I'd tell you"
isn't it correct to say
"She said that if she'd known the answer, she would have told me" ,
since a second conditional (impossibility in the present) becomes a
third conditional (impossibility in the past, she didn't tell me as
she didn't know the answer) ?
