Come potete immaginare, da qualche tempo vado più spesso al
cimitero e, gironzolando qua e là, ho trovato questa scritta su
una lapide:

«O NIMIUM CAELO
ET PELAGO
CONFISE SERENO
NUDUS IN IGNOTA
PALINURE,
IACEBIS ARENA.»

Cercando nella grande Rete geoneurale (eheh), ho trovato che
sono versi dell'Eneide (c'è un piccolo errore).

Qualcuno potrebbe gentilmente fornire una traduzione e magari
anche ipotizzare la ragione per cui fu scritta su una tomba?
